Toronto gravitypope launched November 2012. The beautiful three-floor boutique showcases an impressive and extensive selection of women’s and men’s footwear, clothing, accessories, fragrance and body care. Additionally, the lower level showcases seasonal contemporary art installations from Ellephant.org.

In keeping with gravitypope’s commitment to fine design,  designer, Peter Turner hand-picked original fixtures from Argentina, Italy and Paris to outfit the new building. The space contains a whimsical combination of modern and Louis XVI furnishings including ornate display cabinets, beautiful lacquered tables, elegant vitrines and gilded mirrors. A 15-foot double-sided tufted mohair couch, 2 enormous matching original 1920s’ French chandeliers and a show-stopping 1930s’ Art Deco brass and glass staircase reclaimed from the Buenos Aires Paramount Theatre, are  featured in more than 4,000 square feet of retail space. Within this stunning decor, gravitypope brings Toronto the very finest in footwear, clothing, accessories, fragrance and body care. Gravitypope is an independently owned boutique providing Canada with an extensive array of carefully chosen, beautiful, unique, and handcrafted collections of footwear, clothing and accessories, gathered from all over the world. Over the past 2 decades, gravitypope has become a footwear institution.

In 1990, the first footwear boutique opened in Edmonton, Alberta. In 2000, a second location was added in Calgary, Alberta, followed by a third boutique in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2004. In 2007, gravitypope Tailored Goods debuted in both Edmonton and Vancouver. gravitypope expanded east in November 2012, opening its first micro-department store in Toronto. In addition, the online shop, gravitypope.com provides pre-shopping convenience and door-to-door worldwide delivery.

Each gravitypope store is beautifully unique and tastefully decorated with original furniture and fixtures.
